i am completely impressed! i see a business in your future, especially if you make some cute tops to match. i am sure some people out there would love to buy them, if not to actually wear, to hang on their walls. i also admire the beautiful display tactic on the plush satiny hanger.

Oh jeebuz... I was looking at this and thinking "Isn't that the pattern from knitty? Isn't this the wrong community? Hmm. You know, that looks like licorice, I wonder what was used. Oh! Wait! That IS licorice!"

seriously, beef jerky might be a little too tough to use. Maybe some type of noodle, either fresh, cooked or reconstituted.

You would need something that has some strength, is flexible, and comes in a long this form. I don't think pate would do it.

um, I didn't take the picture, so its not my intellectual property and therefore I really don't have any say to the matter, and I know that knitty.com wouldn't care if an lj icon is made of one of their designs, so go for it.
